This position has a hybrid working environment and is based in Toronto, ON.
Your day to day will include:
- Primarily focus on day-to-day activities
- System administration: monitor, configure and fine tune existing processes
- Work with external vendors on internal system integrations, not limited to testing and deployment of releases & projects
- Transform business requirements and analyze user needs into technical requirements to build intelligent, user-friendly web applications for Strive
- Test, debug, analyze and fix application problems/issues
- Follows the software development lifecycle process
- Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion
- Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems
You will bring:
- Must have at least 3 years of Senior experience in the Mortgage Industry and business management software integrations & builds
- Strong knowledge of Data Management concepts, principles in the Financial Industry
- You have experience in teamwork with version control systems
- You have 5+ years of full-time experience in building web applications that will interface with SQL dbs to store and update data using modern technologies and languages:
- Strong SQL SERVER T-SQL, Visual Studio, SSRS/ SSIS
- Strong skills in the development of dashboards and reports via Power BI.
- NodeJS, .NET Core, Asp.net Core
- Angular, Microservices, React
- HTML 5.0 (Ability to hand code)/CSS
- jQuery & JavaScript
- Relational database knowledge including database design and writing efficient queries
- Azure Cloud Technologies
- Familiar, but not required Microsoft Dynamics/PowerApps, Microsoft Certification
- A Sense of Ownership and Pride in work

- Your personal software practices ensure you deliver high quality even under pressure
- You have a willingness to work with other teams and support engineers to investigate, gather product feedback, and solve problems
